My Wish List and Reading List
I have added new section and category in my humble blog which are my wish list page for things that I wish I can afford to buy and my reading list for list of books that I bought and what I think of them. Although I did not expect anyone to peek into my wish list and getting me some of the cool stuff for my birthday (^^), it is there just to keep me abreast on things that I need (or want) to buy and how much money do I need to make before I can afford those stuff.
Anyway, thanks for your time listening to my brag. For your information, I have written quite a number of articles and tutorials related to graphic design and IT but I am reserving them for article depot in Be Defined Interactive Media Official website which is currently long overdue. I will probably put up the overview of all of the articles in here when I have launched the new Be Defined portfolio website. So stay tune.

The easiest 100 euro you’ll ever make
From 7th August to 31st October 2007, Ulster Bank Ireland is giving out €100 to students who sign up with their student banking services. This is one of the most appealing banking offers since four years I spent my life here in Ireland. Back in 2003, most of the bank provide free lab coat and dissection kit for the medical students who signed up with their student banking services. This latest offers by Ulster Bank prove that the competition between banking services is pretty fierce. Anyway, competition is usually benefits the end consumer, so hurry up and register with Ulster Bank today and get your free €100 and buy yourself a nice pair of shoes.

After a long hiatus
It has been more than two months since my last post in this blog. I went back to Malaysia for the summer holiday and I was too busy exploring and fulfilling my crave of Malaysian foods. One of the place which I dine out is Saisaki Japanese Buffet located at 1st Floor, Wisma UOA II, No.21 Jalan Pinang, KL. Comparing to the las t time I ate there last year, they have totally revamped the interior and removed the a la carte section. The ambiance is more exclusive and warmer and the buffet selection is more diverse compared to last time. All in all, it is a great place to bring you friends and family and their sushi is so much better than Sushi King: FACT!

So, what’s new?
Thanks to Huzaifah, we managed to seal a project with Jabatan Kemajuan Agama Islam Malaysia (JAKIM) for their main portal re-design and development. The main objective of this project is to re-structure and re-design the front-end interface and ultimately to improve accessibility and usability. The gross layout design is already finalised however I will post up the layout in here probably after we have completed the portal framework. I do appreciate if any of you guys would like to participate in the accessibility testing and review the portal and design so we can make a further refinement before presenting them to our client for final review. I’ll post up the details later.
By the way, I just started my easter break this week which last for a month. So I have plenty of time to study for my final term examination and to complete all the pending projects that have been haunting me for over the past two weeks. I am currently working on in-house project for UCC Faculty of Law website; this will include minor interface amendments and some content management. Besides that, I am also working on a website development project for one of my previous client for his patisserie website. His business skyrocketed in the past two years and he successfully establishes a solid ground for his business in the local market. So this time, he would like to re-develop his website to cope with the increasing demands and clients by providing information pack for his potential and current business customers and to provide an interactive platform for his customers to keep in touch with the current promotions and latest products release.
I am also subcontracted by a local IT firm for another website redevelopment project for one of the law association here in Cork. I am still waiting for the feedback on the proposal so hopefully it won’t let me down. So that’s it for now. I just hope I can manage to meet all the deadlines in time Insya Allah.
