Same Song Different Chorus :: Autosurf and Ponzie scheme
More than 90% of the autosurf program that require upgrade from their member are based on Ponzie scheme. It is important for you to know how does Ponzie scheme work and how to identify whether an autosurf program is a Ponzie scheme or not. It is fair to say that Ponzie scheme is actually a new form of theft because each dollar put into by other members are used to pay another member and this scheme will collapse one day because it cannot sustains to pay all the members. This will end up with lots of members losing their money and all the top people in pyramid who benefits from this scheme. This scheme does exploit the public stupidity or naiveness.
Here are some of my tips on how to identify a potential ponzie scheme autosurf:
1. Ridiculous 'Return of Investment' Percentage (I'm using the terms loosely) - You may have seen ads stating "44% in 12 Days" and "365% in one year". One of the autosurf can give you up to 44% per 12 days and that is almost 4000% per annum. I give you an example, if you put USD10 into the scheme, in one year you can generate up to USD1000? (this is including their payout delay etc). How is it possible a $10 dollars investment can give you return of $1000 in one year? What kind of business does give this ridiculous profit? This is question is remain a secret. Try asking the autosurf admin on how they did this. I believe if this is legitimate, there will be such thing as world hunger.
2. No known product of true business. Most of the autosurfers think that they are being paid because they work by viewing a number of website each day. However, is there such as getting paid for viewing other website? How does this website differ to ads in TV? This is how the autosurf program that based on Ponzie scheme trick their members into thinking they are getting paid for their work. How much is the value of autosurf advertising? Am i as an advertiser will pay people just to visit my site for nothing? Companies that involved with online marketing did pay for advertising system that can generate sales such as Google Adwords program, Overture/Yahoo Search Marketing program, Adbrite, Link exchange etc but not autosurf advertising. It is known fact that autosurf ads do not give any conversion or sales so how do we determine is there any value in the autosurf advertising in the first place? Even if they did manage to profit from their ads program, do you think they'll be able to generate so much profit? Think about it.
3. Deceitful terms and conditions - Make sure you understand the terms and conditions before you put any of your hard earned money into this kind of program. The usual pattern that you can see in ponzie scheme they will mention that any upgrade payment is not being considered as "Investment" or "Deposit", this payment is a membership fees (?) for member to be able to surf other members site. Is it just me or is this statement clearly stated that your are not investing money but you are paying them to view other members site ?? They did not acknowledge their members upgrade as investment at all. So do you entitle for refund? They also use this statement: We do not guarantee any profit with this program. Please make sure you are aware on their TOS and at least you won't be so angry with them when the scheme collapse and they run with all your money.
4. Require members to pay for upgrade to autosurf - this is one of the key to identify whether an autosurf program is based on ponzie scheme or not. If they require you as member to upgrade or to pay before being paid, there is high risk that this kind of program is based on ponzie scheme. If the business that they are involve can generate so much profit, why did they need your upgrade in the first place? . Why is this kind of magical business that can generate so much profit is not being exposed by the media?
I think that's all for now. Please be careful before you put your money into this kind of program and always stick to "Put your money that you can afford to loose".
