My Killer EbookIt has been more than 3 years since the affiliate marketing rush. At the time when affiliate marketing was hot, everyone seems so excited and jumped into the bandwagon hoping to grab their portion of the pie. We have seen A LOT of people writing and selling ebooks related to 'killer' affiliate marketing techniques.

After couple of years, the popularity of affiliate marketing subsided and replaced by the uprise of Google Adsense marketing websites. Many so-called "professional" or "internet entrepreneurs" then sits down and crammed their head to come out with their so called "killer technique" for Google Adsense. We have so many people selling killer e-books out there nowadays which sold for as low as zilch to couple of hundreds and ranging from very good to pure crap.

Google adsense seems to sink in slowly each days. Google Adsense scraper websites becoming less everyday in the SERPs thanks to Google revision on their algorithm to penalized websites with no original contents. By the end of the day, only websites with original and quality content will persevered. So if you are thinking on writing and selling your own Google Adsense killer e-book or any killer e-books related to internet business, PLEASE make sure that you have the capacity and the suitable experiences before doing so. You may tricked any of your friends into buying your crap but bare in mind that everything you do will definitely comes around.

Tiny steps into the world of OOP

One of the big things that kept us from moving forward is by feeling comfortable on where we are standing now. For more than three years I have involved with web design and desktop publishing, this is the time which I able to embrace myself to take tiny steps into the world of Object-oriented programming (OOP). In my case, I have chose programming languages that are used widely in web and application development are PHP (& MySQL) and Javascript.

Although I am pretty confident with my markup language skills, it has been quite difficult for me to get a firm grip even on the BASIC concepts of PHP and MySQL. It is undeniable that it takes time to digest the syntax and to fully understand how the codes work, but by comparing to markup language coding, PHP and MySQL is like 100 times harder. I have been reading this book for noob guide on PHP and MySQL but honestly I found that Tizag PHP & MySQL tutorial presented the topic with clearer explanation and better examples and I am more than happy to recommend this website to all PHP and MySQL noob out there.

To make your life so much easier, I do recommend you to install local server in your PC for testing purposes. You can save time and energy by doing this so you do not have to waste time running FTP program, uploading files and accessing MySQL through your hosting server panel. You can either follow this tutorial and install Apache, MySQL, PHP and phpMyAdmin separately or you can install WAMP which automatically install Apache, PHP5, MySQL database, PHPmyadmin and SQLitemanager on your computer. Please note there is a security risk with WAMP if you are planning to publish your server into the world wide web especially when you are running on Windows XP.

In the end, hopefully I can comprehend the coding and implement the knowledge to build my own application from scratch which some of them are:

1. Project Management System
2. Client Relationship Management (CRM)
3. Knowledge Based System
4. Robust Content Management System (CMS)
